FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State men's tennis team fell short after a close match at home against Mount Aloysius, with a final score of 4-3.
First-year Origen Grear and senior Geoffrey Goldring landed a 6-2 win in their doubles match against Caleb Beidle and Bruce Preow. A 6-3 win from sophomore Mason Hordubay and senior Tim Goldring against Cole Kazmierczyk and Adam Snyder landed a point for the Bobcats in the overall score.
Grear landed another point for Frostburg during the singles after a two-set 6-4, 6-1 sweep against Beidle. The final point for the Bobcats came from Tim Goldring, as he beat Snyder 6-2 and 6-1.
The Bobcats return to action on Wednesday, April 14 for a home match against Fairmont State. The match is set to begin at 3:00 pm, for more information go to www.frostburgsports.com.
