GMAC/MEC Swimming Championships: Day Two

CANTON, Ohio – Day two of the GMAC/MEC Championships came to an end Wednesday afternoon with the Bobcats earning two top-five finishes and seven top 10's.

For the women, the 400-medley relay team consisting of first year's Cali Kobasair, Liz Perry, Summer Mastandrea, and sophomore Rayna Cicen finished eighth with a finishing time of 4:15.24. Perry also placed 10th in the 50-free with a time of 25.36.

On the men's side, the 400-medley relay team of first year's PJ Emrich, Andrew Creelman, Noah Loper, and Senior Anthony Giuseppetti landed a sixth-place finish with a time of 3:32.10.

Additionally, Giuseppetti placed third in the 500-free (4:44.78), with first year Justin Geiszier placing ninth (4:53.38). In the 50-free, Creelman placed fourth with a time of 21.40 and Loper placed seventh in the 200 IM (1:56.08).
