BALTIMORE, Md. – The Frostburg State Women's Swim team fell 217-37 on the road to UMBC in their final regular season meet of the season on Friday.

Sophomore Genna Rippeon and senior Gaby Betancourt had the top placements on the day, each finishing third in the 200 IM (2:14.46) and the 50 back (29.85) respectively. Rippeon also came fourth in the 100 fly (1:02.16), as did junior Reagan Chase in the 100 free (57.75) and junior Mackenzie Payne in the 50 fly (28.21).

Junior Jayme Meadows had a pair of top-five finishes in both the 200 free (2:05.76 and the 100 IM (1:05.43), while sophomore Taylor Emrich and freshman Kallie Gyurisin each also placed fifth in the 50 free (26.41) and the 50 breast (35.62), respectively.

With the loss, FSU concludes their regular season at 6-3 overall, while UMBC improves to 4-3. The Bobcats will now prepare for the GMAC/MEC Championships from Wednesday, February 11 through Saturday, February 14 in Canton, Ohio. Information and updates will be posted to frostburgsports.com.
