Bobcats Fall in Second Meet of Season

FROSTBURG, Md. – Frostburg State fell in its second meet of the season by a final score of 235.990-153.225. The Bobcats performed well, outscoring Glenville in four of the six events on the day.

In the compulsory event, FSU's best score came in the toss heat, registering a score of 8.800. They followed that up with a solid performance in the 5-element heat in the Acro event, scoring a 9.600, which was Frostburg's best score of the day.

The Bobcats put up three scores in the nines in the Pyramid event. In the inversion heat, Frostburg scored a 9.500, followed by a 9.000 in the synchronized heat. Frostburg rounded out the event with a 9.350 in the open heat.

Frostburg's largest event margin of victory in an event came in the Tumbling portion of the meet. The Bobcats put up a score of 49.025 to Glenville State's 44.800. Glenville State would score an 81.990 in the team event to come away with the victory.
