CHARLESTON, W.Va.- The Frostburg State tennis teams lost for the second straight day, as both sides fell to Charleston 7-0.
On the women's side, junior Shea Przywieczerski was able to take games in both sets in a 6-1, 6-2 loss to Emelina Alvarez. Also impressing for the Bobcats was sophomore Elizabeth Hixson, as she took the most games in one set of any FSU women's player on the day, with three. She would lose 6-3, 6-1 to Regina Saucedo.
For the men, first-year Origen Grear performed well for the second day in a row, taking two games in each set in a 6-2, 6-2 loss to John Giesberts. Sophomore Ryan Tomasic was also able to take a game in both sets in a 6-1, 6-2 loss to Jack Bowman.
Frostburg is back in action Friday, March 26, as they travel to Elkins, W. Va. to take on the Senators from Davis & Elkins. Matches are set to start at 3 p.m. For more information head to frostburgsports.com.
