WEST LIBERTY, W. Va. – The Frostburg State women's basketball team drops road game against West Liberty Saturday afternoon. Junior Morgan Dombroski led the bobcats with 15 points.
The Bobcats took the lead at the 6:40 mark of the first quarter with a pair of free throws from Dombroski. Frostburg then gave up 14 straight points without scoring until sophomore Arianna Briggs-Hall drew a foul and knocked down one of two shots.
Dombroski started Frostburg off with a jumper at the beginning of the second quarter to make the score 25-17. The Hilltopers then held the Bobcats scoreless for just over the next four minutes until first-year Rhiana Hall scored a basket. The Bobcats ended the first half down 19-46.
Frostburg's first three pointer of the game came from first-year Brenae Ford with 2:12 left in the third quarter. Dombroski scored her 15
th point in the fourth quarter making the score 39-81. Senior Jada Holland scored Frostburg's final points of the game with final score being 44-98.
