FROSTBURG, Md. – First-year Rabiatu Ladan and senior Allison Paul posted two wins on Saturday as the Frostburg women's tennis team scooted to a 6-1 win over Hood.
Ladan and Paul teamed up for a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles over Paige Langmead and Jennifer Slick. Individually, Ladan downed Slick at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-2 and Paul was victorious over Langmead at No. 6 singles, 6-3, 6-1.
Sophomore Immanuella Odiong picked up a win at No. 2 singles over Skylar Wright, 7-6 (9-7), 7-5, sophomore Erika Femne rallied past Abby Bloom 5-7, 6-2, 10-8 at No. 4 singles and sophomore Shea Przywieczerski won No. 5 singles over Katie Cautero, 7-6 (8-6), 6-3.
Graduate student Aisling Woulfe and first-year Madison Toothman defeated Bloom and Cautero at No. 3 doubles, 6-2.
Frostburg travels to Charleston this Friday for an MEC match at 4:00 pm.
