FROSTBURG, Md. - On Saturday afternoon the men's tennis team lost 9-0 against conference opponent, Christopher Newport.

The Bobcats fall to 4-4 on the season and 0-4 in Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) play.

In singles play senior Shasta Braithwaite fought against the Captains with scores of 6-2 and 6-3 but ultimately falling to CNU. Seniors Nate Farlow and Dereck Thompson, sophomores Justin Davis and Geoffrey Goldring, and junior Toheeb Aroworowon all fall to the Captains while Braithwaite, Goldring and Aroworowon all took a few sets within their matches.

Doubles competition was comprised of Braithwaite, Farlow, Thompson, Goldring, Davis, and junior Chad O'Neal. Thompson and Goldring took a set in their match with a score of 8-1 as well as Davis and O'Neal mirroring the 8-1 score.

The Bobcats compete tomorrow against Salisbury at home with an 11:00 am start.
