HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Frostburg State men's tennis team dropped a match to Earlham, 9-0, on Wednesday.
The Bobcats settle at 3-4 overall following their fourth match in four days in Hilton Head.
Sophomore Shasta Braithewaite and senior Marcus Bowers played to the closest match for the men on the afternoon. The duo lost to Vitalii Stadnyk and Adam Schwartz in No. 1 doubles 8-3.
Braithewaite also fell in No. 2 singles to F. Bulnes Aramburu, 6-0, 6-0, while Bowers had the closest singles match with a 6-1, 6-4 defeat to Adarsh Singh.
Junior Aaron Beckner and junior David Cotton suffered an 8-2 loss in No. 2 doubles to Karun Rathi and Jason Lawson.
Frostburg wraps up its spring break trip tomorrow when it plays Virginia Wesleyan at 9:00 am.
