HILTON HEAD, S.C.- The Frostburg State women's tennis team suffered a narrow 5-4 loss at the hands of Buena Vista on Monday afternoon in Hilton Head.

Freshman Jenna Lipinski and freshman Allison Paul each picked up two victories on the day with Lipinski taking a 6-3, 6-1 decision over Madison Gierstorf in the No. 5 singles and Paul notching a 6-4, 6-0 win over Emily Hoesing at the No. 6 spot.

Lipinski partnered with freshman Sammi Turner to earn the Bobcats another point in doubles competition as the pair beat Gierstorf and Rica Mizero 8-6 from the No. 2 spot.

Paul also earned her second point on the day when she and sophomore Emma Seibert teamed up to take down Emma Hartz and Emily Hoesing 8-5 in the No. 3 slot.

The loss knocks the Bobcats back to 2-4 on the season. They next take to the court tomorrow at noon when they take on North Central.
