HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Frostburg State men's tennis team earned a 6-3 victory over Buena Vista Monday afternoon in Hilton Head.
 
Sophomore Shasta Braithwaite, senior Rodrigo Valenzuela, freshman Corey Reasner and sophomore David Kramer all picked up wins in singles action. In doubles play, the teams of Valenzuela/Kramer and Beckner/Cotton both came out victorious.
 
Braithwaite came away with a three-set victory in No. 1 singles over Chris Haberman. Braithwaite won the first set, 6-3, and the third set, 10-8. Haberman won the second set, 6-4.
 
In No. 3 singles, Valenzuela swept Will Connelly 6-2, 6-2. Reasner came away triumphant, 6-0, 6-1, over Andrew Boll in No. 5 singles.
 
In No. 2 doubles, Valenzuela and Kramer defeated Connelly and Aaron Mumm 8-4.
 
Frostburg (3-2) will continue its spring break trip tomorrow with a noon match against North Central.
