Friday night's meet served as the final home event for Alek Combs, Hunter Diehl and Sydney Fazenbaker and the trio helped the men to a 148-113 win and the women to a 179-82 victory.
The FSU women didn't lose an event on the evening and captured 14 wins in 14 events, while the men took eight wins in the 14 events.
Even more impressive than the combined 22 wins was the fact that seven school or U.S. Paralymic records fell between four different Bobcat swimmers.
Junior Zach Shattuck was responsible for capturing two U.S. Paralympic Class S6 records, one SB6 record and one SM6 record in just four individual events. He set S6 records in the 1,500-meter freestyle (24:52.11) and the 50-meter butterfly (38.04), captured the SM6 record in the 400-meter IM (6:43.88) and set the SB6 record in the 200-meter breaststroke (3:18.21).
The three school records that were set on Friday came from the Bobcat women's team.
Junior Macie Nitchie set the school record in the 50-meter butterfly (31.45), sophomore Maddie Weinberger captured the school record in the 400-meter IM (5:36.80) by almost 23 seconds and sophomore Emily Turner broke her own Frostburg record in the 50-meter backstroke (33.11).
Between the three of them, Nitchie, Weinberger and Turner accounted for seven individual wins and they helped with two more victories in relays.
Nitchie again made it a perfect sweep as she captured wins in all three individual events; the 50-meter butterfly (31.45), the 100-meter freestyle (1:01.08) and the 200-meter freestyle (2:13.13). In four meets at Bobcat Natatorium this season, Nitchie captured 12 wins in 12 individual events.
Meanwhile, Weinberger and Turner each finished Friday's meet with two wins and a runner-up showing. Weinberger won the 50-meter freestyle (29.10) and the 400-meter IM (5:36.80) and posted second place in the 100-meter freestyle (1:04.62). Turner was victorious in the 50-meter backstroke (33.11) and the 100-meter backstroke (1:12.59) and was second in the 1,500-meter freestyle (20:16.75).
Weinberger finished her home meets this season with nine wins in 12 events.
In the relays, Nicthie and Weinberger teamed with Fazenbaker and freshman Megan Culbertson for a victory in the 400-meter freestyle relay (4:25.44), while Turner and Fazenbaker joined freshman Becca Marsh and freshman Elizabeth Myers for a win in the 400-meter medley relay (5:00.09).
Fazenbaker capped her home career in stellar fashion by capturing her first wins of the season. She took first in the 50-meter breaststroke (38.45) and 100-meter breaststroke (1:23.86).
Marsh also took home two wins for the Bobcat women as she touched the wall in the 1,500-meter freestyle in 19:48.32 and the 400-meter freestyle in 4:59.45.
Myers rounded out the wins on the women's side as she captured gold in the 100-meter butterfly in 1:17.21 and posted second place in the 50-meter butterfly in 34.13.
Five different swimmers took home an individual win for the Bobcat men.
Junior Christian March swept three events for the third time this season as he won the 50-meter breaststroke (30.17), 50-meter freestyle (24.11) and 100-meter breaststroke (1:08.05).
Juniors Daniel Ryczek and Deionn Yarberough each finished the evening with two wins to their credit. Ryczek won both the 200-meter freestyle (2:08.68) and 400-meter IM (5:24.26), while Yarberough won the 50-meter backstroke (29.57) and the 100-meter backstroke (1:06.22). It marks the first time both swimmers captured two individual wins in a meet this season.
Freshman Jacob Auerbach captured a win in the 400-meter freestyle (4:37.99) and took second place in both the 50-meter backstroke (30.12) and 100-meter backstroke (1:06.31).
Junior Marquell Proctor captured the win in the 1,500-meter freestyle in 19:24.92 and followed it up with a second-place finish in the 400-meter freestyle in 4:53.70.
Yarberough, March and Ryczek joined Combs to open the meet with a win in the 400-meter medley relay (4:13.78), while Yarberough joined, Auerbach, Ryczek and junior Darnell Hungerford for a win in the meet's final event, the 400-meter freestyle relay (3:57.60).
Frostburg closes out its regular season tomorrow with a CAC meet at Marymount at 2:00 pm. The Bobcats will travel to St. Mary's College for the CAC Championships on February 17-19.
