ALTOONA, Pa. – The Frostburg men's and women's swimming teams each earned a pair of wins on Saturday against both Penn State Altoona and Bethany (W.Va.).

The Bobcat women defeated Penn State Altoona, 118-71 and Bethany, 133-31, while the men took care of business against Altoona 100-96 and Bethany 132-38.
The Bobcat women also registered seven wins against the two schools.
Junior Macie Nitchie was again perfect on the afternoon as she won both the 200-yard freestyle (2:02.80) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:08.05).
Nitchie was also joined by Emily Turner, Maddie Weinberger and Elizabeth Myers for a victory in the in the 200-yard medley relay to open the afternoon in 2:00.16.
Individually, Weinberger captured a win in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.21), while Turner won the 500-yard freestyle (5:50.96). Weinberger added second in the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.55), Turner was second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:10.48) and Myers captured second in the 50-yard freestyle (27.91).
Freshman Becca Marsh was also perfect in her two individual events as she won the 50-yard freestyle (27.42) and the 100-yard freestyle (59.15).
Freshman Megan Culbertson registered three runner-up showings in 1,650-yard free (20:41.94), the 500-yard free (6:05.23) and the 200-yard IM (2:35.91).
In their sweep of the Lions and Bison, the Bobcat men also captured five wins.
Like Nitchie, junior Christian March was a perfect 3-for-3 on the afternoon as he won the 200-yard IM (2:08.90), the 100-yard freestyle (50.59) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.37).
Freshman Jacob Auerbach posted a win in the 1,650-yard free style in 18:33.59 and then helped the 200-medley relay team of Deionn Yarberough (junior), Darnell Hungerford (junior) and Daniel Ryczek (junior) to a win in 1:45.50.
Ryzcek registered a pair of runner-up finishes following the 200-medley relay in the 500-yard freestyle (5:16.77) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.71).
Yarberough went on to take second place in the 100-yard backstroke (59.73), Hungerford collected an individual second-place showing in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.74) and senior Alek Combs was second in the 100-yard butterfly (59.71).
Hungerford, along with teammates Chase Manard (sophomore), Matt Whelan (freshman) and Marquell Proctor (junior) were second in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:37.32.
Frostburg hosts Elizabethtown this Friday night for senior night at 6:00 pm.
