HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Frostburg State women's tennis team played several close matches but ultimately fell, 8-1, to Concordia Wisconsin.
The Bobcats picked up one win in the no.1 doubles competition. Seniors Kaitlin Lemmert and Kayla Kirk defeated CUW's Ashley Solberg and Bailey Kelly, 8-6.
Kirk also played a tough match in the no. 1 singles competition, falling 6-2, 6-3 to Solberg.
The no. 3 doubles team of juniors Kennedy Logsdon and Heather Lesniowski played a close match to Concordia Wisconsin's Sabine Jacobsen and Alisia Macioch but dropped by an 8-3 decision.
FSU will face CAC opponent Christopher Newport today at noon.
