HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Frostburg State women's tennis team dropped its CAC opening match to St. Mary's, 9-0, yesterday.
Freshman Emma Siebert had arguably the closest match in singles action for the Bobcats. She battled Katie Chase at No. 4 singles before falling 7-6, 5-7, 6-0. Senior Kailtin Lemmert lost in No. 2 singles to Anna Passaniti 6-2, 6-3.
In doubles action, Lemmert joined senior Kayla Kirk at No. 1 in an 8-5 loss to Passaniti and Melissa Barall.
