NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Frostburg State men's and women's tennis teams returned to Capital Athletic Conference action Sunday afternoon after a trip to Hilton Head, S.C. and were swept by Christopher Newport.
On the men's side, senior Kenneth Alban fell to David Reed in No. 1 singles action 6-0, 6-2 before combining with senior Colin Christian to drop the No. 1 doubles game 8-1.
For the women, junior Kaitlin Lemment dropped the No. 2 singles match to Alexandria Drye, 6-0, 6-2. Junior Kayla Kirk and Lemment fell in the No. 1 doubles match, 8-1.
The men's tennis team returns to action when the Bobcats host Bethany on Tuesday and the men's and women's tennis teams host Randolph Macon on Wednesday.
