HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Frostburg State women's tennis team fell to St. Mary's (Md.) 9-0 in the opening match of the Bobcats' spring break trip, Monday.

Kayla Kirk and Kaitlin Lemment fell to Shannon Ramsey and Emily Stumpfig in a hard-fought No. 1 doubles set, 8-4. Kirk fell to Ramsey in the No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-2. Sara Hildebrand and Ashley Smith also fell in the No. 2 doubles 8-4 while each falling in their singles' match 6-0, 6-0.

Frostburg State returns to action tomorrow afternoon against Fairmont State at 12:00 pm.
