LATROBE, Pa. – Junior Erin Worthman scored one goal in each half and Frostburg State posted a 2-0 shutout of Saint Vincent to open the 2014 campaign with a win, Friday.

th minute. She struck again in the second stanza, this time on a breakaway, and again slipped a shot past Lyden into the lower left corner of the net at 46:00.
The Bobcats outshot SVC 21-5 behind four shots from both Worthman and senior Stephanie Fazenbaker. Frostburg attempted 10 and 11 shots in each half, respectively.
Senior keeper Katie Smith picked up the shutout after making two saves in 90 minutes of work. Her counterpart, Lyden made seven saves in the loss.
FSU travels to Washington & Jefferson next Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
