DANVILLE, K.Y. – Centre College scored four second-half goals to power past Frostburg State, 6-2, in non-conference field hockey action, Saturday.

International transfer Eleanor Vials scored both goals for the Bobcats that fell to 2-5 on the season with the loss. Centre's second-half scoring outburst carried it to the win and a 7-0 record.
Megan Flocken scored the game's first two goals for the Colonels in the 12th and 15th minutes respectively as the hosts tried to run away with the contest early on.
Vials halted Centre's momentum with her first goal of the season at 17:56 and brought the Bobcats within one at 2-1. The score remained close throughout the remainder of the first half, despite Centre holding a 14-4 edge in shots.
The second half was a different story as Centre found the net four-consecutive times between 43:48 and 59:35 to seal the win. Flocken scored twice and handed out one assist during the run.
Vials ended the run and the game's scoring with her second tally of the game and season in the 62nd minute.
Sophomore Megan Grimm made nine saves in just under 55 minutes of action, while Colonel keeper Kirby Roberts stopped two shots for the win.
FSU returns to the field tomorrow with a rematch with Transylvania at 11:00 am.
