FROSTBURG, Md. – Dickinson scored a pair of first half goals en route to a 2-0 victory over Frostburg State in field hockey action, Wednesday.

The first half goals were all the offense the Red Devils (3-2) needed for the win. Dickinson outshot the host Bobcats (2-3) 16-4 during the decisive first half.
Alexandra Becker scored at 30:33 and less than a minute later Lauren Wyman found the net (31:31) for a quick 2-0 edge.
FSU held a slim 11-10 lead in shots in the second half but was unable to break through with a goal. Senior keeper Maggie Edwards stopped 11 shots in the loss.
Frostburg returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Warrenton, Va. The Bobcats host Virginia Wesleyan at 3:00 pm at Highland High School.
