Fredericksburg, Va. - The Frostburg State field hockey team dropped its CAC match with Mary Washington, 8-0, Saturday afternoon.

Seniors Breanne Russell (Clements, Md./Chopticon) and Lindsey Frost (Columbia, Md./Hammond) registered the Bobcats' five shots in the contest, with four coming in the second half.

Mary Washington (4-4, 3-1) got two goals and two assists from junior Morgan Jones, while senior Emma Jones added three goals. Morgan Jones netted the game-winner at the 2:57 mark of the first half.

Sophomore Maggie Edwards (Lebanon, N.J./Hunterdon Central Regional) made a pair of first half saves for the Bobcats, and freshman Kellen Murphy (Ashton, Md./Saint Johns) had one save.

Frostburg State (2-8, 1-2) continues its road trip Sunday afternoon at Lynchburg at 1:00 p.m.
