FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State men's tennis team fell to Division II Davis and Elkins 6-3 after a four game winning streak, Friday afternoon.
Frostburg State now has an overall record of 6-4 and 4-2 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference record.
Sophomores
Eddie McMurtrie (Boonsboro, Md./Boonsboro) and
Tyler Forster (Taneytown, Md./Francis Scott Key) picked up the only doubles win on the day in the second match when they defeated Linn Baxa and Will Hill with a score of 8-4.
In the number four singles competition, junior
Josh Galvez (Adelphi, Md./Montogomery Blair) posted a win against Hill with scores of 6-1 and 6-0 while freshman
Zach Repp (Clear Spring, Md./Clear Spring) won against Josh Hays in the No. 6 singles competition (6-4, 2-6, 7-6(3).
