SHENANDOAH, Va. – The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team competed at the Hornet Harrier Invitational on Saturday morning, placing third out of fourth teams.
 
At the Kernstown Battlefield course, senior Gage Osborne paced FSU by finishing in second overall at 27:08.0. Not too far behind him were junior Ben Saltysiak (27:37.7), sophomore Connor McIntyre (27:42.6), and senior Ray Gibson (27:53.4) all placing inside the top 15 at sixth, ninth, and twelfth, respectively. Sophomore Angel Ruiz Rivera (29:08.5) closed out the scoring runners in 23^rd, while junior Ethan McKee placed 28^th at 29:56.8.
 
Frostburg will return to action on Saturday, October 10 as they will travel to Youthtowne, Pa. for the Carnegie Mellon XC Challenge. Information and updates will be posted to frostburgsports.com.
