FROSTBURG, Md. - Frostburg State University announced its 2026 Hall of Fame class, featuring seven members to be inducted. 

Shannon Dunnigan '08 | Swimming - Dunnigan was named the 2007-08 AMCC Swimmer of the Year and was a six-time conference champion. At the time of her graduation, she held two program records in the 1,500m and 1,650y freestyle, while also being top-10 in program history in four other events. 

Bryan Gamble '00 | Baseball - Gamble received Honorable Mention All-American honors in 1998, where he was also the AMCC Newcomer of the Year, while in 1999, he was named the AMCC MVP. He set the single-season program record for doubles and shutouts and still holds the all-time career ERA record. 

Timothy Garner '92 | Baseball - Garner was a First Team All-ESAC selection in 1992 and one of the top defensive catchers in program history. In 1992, he recorded the second-most doubles in a single season as well as the second-most career putouts and assists in program history. 

Chauncey Manson '12 | Track & FIeld - Manson was a four-time CAC champion and seven-time ECAC qualifier. He won 22 total individual races as well as being a member of 12 winning relay teams and still ranks in the top-10 in program histroy for the indoor 200m. 

Dr. Robert McFarland | Head Coach of Men's Lacrosse and Swimming - McFarland began the swimming programs at FSU and led the teams for nearly 20 seasons. He coached 23 total national qualifiers including nine All-Americans while the team set 23 program records. He also served as Men's Lacrosse coach for four seasons, accumulating 16 victories.

Sara Schwartz '01 | Volleyball - Schwartz ranked third in career kills, hitting percentage, and blocks at the time of graduation. She was named the 2000 AMCC Player of the Year as well as receiving AVCA All-Region honors, helping lead the team to three consecutive conference championships. 

Dwain Thomas '84 | Track & Field and Cross Country - Thomas competed at three national championships and was a three-time Mason-Dixon Conference champion. He earned eight total all-conference accolades and ranks in the top-10 in the outdoor 800m, 4x800m, and Distance Medley Relay, as well as the Indoor 500m, 1,000m, 4x400m, and 4x800m.
