BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Junior Jackson Schalick was named the MEC Baseball Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan. 

Schalick led Frostburg to a 5-0 week, batting .533 with three doubles and six RBI. He recorded a hit in every game, going 2-for-3 against Pitt-Johnstown with three runs scored and an RBI. In game three against West Liberty, he went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, and an RBI.
