FROSTBURG, Md. - Juniors Jackson Schalick and Joey Serafin each received All-Region honors for the Frostburg State Baseball team, announced by two organizations.
Schalick took D2CCA First Team and NCBWA Second Team honors after leading the Bobcats in nearly every offensive statistical category. He led the Mountain East Conference in RBI, doubles, and at-bats, while placing in the top-five in batting average, slugging percentage, runs scored, hits, and home runs.
Serafin also earned a spot on the NCBWA Second Team, emerging as FSU's closer throughout the season. He placed second in the MEC in saves while tying for second on the team in wins, striking out 27 batters over 34.2 innings.
