FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State Baseball team received the American Baseball Coaches Association's Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced by the organization on Wednesday. 

To qualify for the award, a program must have at least a 3.0 team GPA on a 4.0 scale. FSU had 33 players earning at least a 3.0, with 15 of those being a 3.50 or above.
