Amos Nets MEC Defensive Player of the Week for Women's Lacrosse

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Sophomore goalkeeper Liz Amos was named the MEC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office Monday.

Amos - Helped FSU to an upset 8-7 victory over No. 18 Seton Hill, making a career-high 14 saves in goal. She also added career-bests with two caused turnovers and six groundballs, leading the program to its first win over a ranked opponent at the Division II level.
