CLINTON, Pa. – The Frostburg State men's cross-country team competed at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational 8K race on Saturday morning, finishing 15th out of 23 teams with 409 points.
Ashland won the team title with 71 points, coming out on top of hosts Carnegie Mellon (76) and followed by Walsh (93), Northwood (95) and Point Park (178).
Senior Gage Osborne paced the Bobcats in 59th place overall at 26:19.1. He was followed by senior Ray Gibson (26:40.7) in 80th and sophomore Connor McIntyre (26:55.6) in 91st.
Senior Brandon Stein (28:01.9) placed 136th and freshman Tyler Berry (28:20.6) took 149th to round out Frostburg's scoring five. Junior Ethan McKee (28:37.6), senior Jaxon Jones (28:55.9), sophomore Braydon Mosier (29:47.3), and seniors Matthew Brennan (30:13.9) and Nathan Hillhouse (32:25.6) rounded out a large team effort for FSU at the meet.
