WHEELING, W. Va. – The Frostburg State Men's Cross Country team placed eighth of ten teams at the MEC Championships on Saturday morning.
 
Junior Gage Osborne led the way for FSU, placing 14^th overall at 27:01.98, earning Second Team All-MEC honors in the process. Among the top-50 finishes were junior Jaxon Jones (27:55.49) in 30^th, with freshman Connor McIntyre (28:45.96) and junior Ray Gibson (28:54.21) in 43^rd and 46^th, respectively.
 
Sophomore Ben Saltysiak (29:48.29) came across as the final scoring Bobcat, while freshman Angel Ruiz Rivera (30:29.48), sophomore Ethan McKee (31:15.31), and freshman Braydon Mosier (31:41.90) all concluded the meet.
 
Frostburg next will take part in the Atlantic Region Championships on Saturday, November 8 in Lock Haven, Pa. Information and updates will be posted to frostburgsports.com.
