SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Frostburg State Baseball team was placed seventh in this year's NCBWA Preseason Top 10 rankings, as announced on Monday.

Frostburg, coming off a 33-20 record last year, was crowned MEC North Division Champions with a 22-8 conference record. The Bobcats made it to the MEC Championship last season, falling to Charleston (WV), the No. 6 team in the rankings, by a final score of 12-8. FSU are one of four MEC teams to be named to the poll, with Concord and West Virginia State coming in at eighth and tenth, respectively.

FSU opens their season on Friday, February 16 at 6 PM as they travel to Miami Shores, FL to face Barry University in three games across two days.
