BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Junior Abbie Baker was once again announced as the MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Athlete of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office. 

Baker competed in 12 heats and the team event as FSU rolled to a tri-meet victory over East Stroudsburg and Saint Leo this past Sunday. Her performance was highlighted by a 9.875 in the open tumbling pass. She also helped the Bobcats to four additional scores of 9.70 or higher, including a 9.75 in the compulsory pyramid, inversion pyramid and synchronized pyramid, and a 9.70 in the five-element acro. 

It is the third time she has been selected for the award this season, as no other athlete in the conference has earned the honor more than once.
