FROSTBURG, Md. – The 12^th-ranked Frostburg State Acrobatics & Tumbling team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2023 season.
 
Bobcat Arena hosts the first meet of the year on Saturday, February 18 against King, the team just ahead of FSU in the NCATA preseason coaches' poll at No. 11. The first conference meet is scheduled to be held at Davis & Elkins in a tri-meet that also includes Notre Dame College, competing in their inaugural season as a program. 
 
The team then returns home on back-to-back weekends, first against No. 15 West Liberty, then another tri-meet against second-year programs Saint Leo and East Stroudsburg, where it will also be senior day for the Bobcats. 
 
A pair of ranked matchups follow, first a rematch of last season's MEC Championship Meet on the road against No. 7 Fairmont State, then a trip to Connecticut to face powerhouse Quinnipiac, the fourth-ranked team in the country. The regular season concludes with a road meet against Glenville State on Wednesday, April 5. 
 
In addition, the Bobcats have made a late addition to the schedule that is sure to be a true test. FSU will travel to Waco, Texas to face seven-time reigning NCATA national champion Baylor for a mid-week matchup on Wednesday, March 22. The Bears landed atop the NCATA coaches' preseason poll, garnering 32 of 33 first-place votes as the number one team in the sport.  
 
MEC Championships will be hosted by the top seed in the conference and are scheduled to be held Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15. Additionally, West Liberty received the honor to host the NCATA Finals this year, which are set to be held Thursday, April 27 through Saturday, April 29.
