FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State Football team is listed among the teams under consideration by the NCAA in the Super Region 1 rankings, released on Monday night.
FSU currently is tied atop the Mountain East Conference standings with Charleston (WV), sporting a 6-1 record, with a 5-1 MEC mark.Two other MEC teams appeared in the rankings, with UC and Fairmont State both selected.
The regional rankings are used to determine which teams will advance to the National Playoffs at the end of the season, with the top seven teams from each of the four super regions selected. The first set of rankings are listed in alphabetical order, as future rankings will be listed in order of the top-ranked to lower-ranked teams. Each other team from the first set of rankings is listed below, with team's overall and in-region records included.
