BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - The Mountain East Conference announced its 2022 Fall Academic honors, featuring both All-MEC Academic Team and the Commissioner's Honor Roll, of which Frostburg State saw 100 total athletes receive distinction. 

In total, 57 Bobcats were named to the All-MEC Academic Team, of which student-athletes must be a member of the active roster and have a grade-point average of 3.70-4.00 in the semester of their season. Each of FSU's sports competing in the season had at least two selections for the distinction. An additional 43 Frostburg athletes earned the Commissioner's Honor Roll, which requires a grade-point average between 3.25-3.69 through the semester. 

Leading the way for female sports, 22 total players received one of the honors for women's soccer, including 20 on the All-MEC Academic Team, out of a roster of 25 total players. On the men's side, football saw 38 athletes earn distinction, with 16 on the All-MEC Academic Team and 22 on Commissioner's Honor Roll.
