NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The IWLCA has named 398 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2021-22 academic year. Frostburg State qualified for the distinction having accumulated a 3.41 team GPA for the Spring season, as teams must have a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. 

Additionally, 10 members of the team were named to the Division II Academic Honor Roll, from which student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. The players selected were as follows: Graduate Emily Chick, Seniors Lucy Baukhages, Shelby Brunett, Mackenzie Cramer, Chloee Johnson, Emma Neff, and Bridget Weiss, and Juniors Ayanna McDonald, Maura O'Neill, and Lilly Stephens.
