FROSTBURG, Md.- Frostburg State Acrobatics & Tumbling was picked to finish third in the MEC preseason poll as the team prepares to enter its second season of competition.
 
West Liberty, last season's runner-up at the MEC Championship, finished first in the poll with 34 points and had four first-place votes. Fairmont State was picked second with 33 points and had three first-place votes. Frostburg earned 24 points in earning third. Glenville State was next with 18 points, followed closely by West Virginia Wesleyan (17), Davis & Elkins (12) and Alderson Broaddus (6).
 
The 2022 MEC Championship will be held April 8-9 on the campus of Fairmont State University.
