FAIRMONT, W. Va.- The Frostburg State Volleyball team traveled to Fairmont State in their final regular season match, where they lost 3-0.
The team was led by freshman middle hitter AJ Thompson, senior outside hitter Haley Altemus, and sophomore outside hitter Beverly Braun all with five kills. Leading in assists was redshirt-sophomore setter Hayley Delor with 14, and junior defensive specialist Bianca Smalls and Braun both led the team in digs with nine.
With the loss, the Bobcats fall to 9-19 while the Falcons rise to 21-9 on the year. The match ends Frostburg's regular season, as they wait and see if they earn a spot at the MEC tournament, with matches in the South Division determining their fate. For more information and updates, visit
