MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Frostburg State men's tennis team dropped its 2019-20 season opener on Saturday at Millersville, 7-0.
The Bobcats (0-1) dropped all six singles and all six doubles matches. Junior Tim Goldring took the only set of the afternoon for Frostburg as he endured a 6-1, 6-0 loss at Jose Alcazar at No. 6 singles.
Junior Geoffrey Goldring suffered a 6-0, 6-0 straight-set setback at No. 1 singles. Geoffrey teamed with first-year Mason Hordubay for a 6-0 loss at No. 1 doubles.
Frostburg returns to action next Sunday at the University of the District of Columbia at 1:00 pm.
