The Frostburg State Volleyball team rallied for three straight set wins to defeat Rowan Friday night at the Rowan Quad.
 
After dropping the first set the Bobcats won the next three sets by scores of 25-22, 25-23, and 25-12.
 
In the first set, the Profs jumped out to an early lead, and ended the set with 15 kills. The Bobcats had a match-high four services aces.
 
The second set saw better fortune for Frostburg State.The Bobcats jumped on the Profs early with a five nothing run. The ending of the set was similar to the start, FSU closed the second set on a three to nothing run. Along with gaining more kills than the Profs, FSU more than doubled Rowan's hitting percentage. The following set was much of the same. Frostburg used three service aces and three blocks to break the tie with Rowan.
 
Set number four was a clinic for FSU. After grabbing an early lead behind a six to nothing run, the Bobcats used a crucial run late in the set to create a 22-9 lead.
 
Frostburg was lead by Junior Bailey Godlove who had ten kills and nine aces. First year Haley Altemus was all over the stat book with ten kills, one ace, and 18 digs on Friday night.
 
The win moves FSU to 7-15 overall on the season. The Bobcats will continue at the Rowan Quad Saturday with two more matches against Scranton and Eastern with the first match starting at 11 a.m.
