Neither team got on the board until 7:18 passed in the second half when the Hornets' Bereit took advantage of a free-position shot to tie the game at 6. Bereit added the next goal for SU after connecting on a pass from Rasoulov.
Hines added the Bobcats' final tally on a free-position shot with 9:07 left to play and tied the game for the fifth time, 7-7.
