The Bobcats (10-14, 6-11) battled back to trim their deficit to six, 25-19, after back-to-back three-pointers from junior Nick Smoot. York again pushed its lead to 13,  34-21, but freshman Tyler Michael and junior Jerel Carter each hit a three-pointer to cut the score to 34-27 at intermission.

In the second, Frostburg trimmed its deficit to six points on a dunk from freshman Zachary Coalman at 15:06, but the Spartans used a 14-2 run to grab a 53-35 lead with 10:42 to play.

With 5:02 showing on the second half clock, York pushed its lead to a game-high 22, 61-39, before Frostburg was able to close the gap to 15 at the final horn. Michael hit back-to-back three-pointers inside the final two minutes and made three-straight free throws with 46 seconds left to help FSU pull within 67-52.

Michael finished with a team-high 14 points, while junior Jerel Carter added 10. The Bobcats committed a season-low seven turnovers and turned 20 York mistakes into 22 points.
