Box Score

The Bobcats slip to 2-2-1 on the season, while the Blue Jays, ranked eighth in the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll, improved their overall record to 4-0-1.

Kenny DeStefano scored the game's only goal in the 61st minute. He ran onto a pass from Andrew Park and hit a low shot to the far post for the 1-0 lead. Hopkins had a chance to increase its lead just moments later when Kotaro Mitsuhashi dribbled towards the net and maneuvered past Bobcat starting keeper Hassan Mostafa. However, his shot was kicked away from the open net by junior defender Mitchel Muise to keep the score at 1-0.

Frostburg was outshot 13-2 and Mostafa kept the Bobcats in the game with five saves, all in a scoreless first half.
