BUENA VISTA, Va. – Frostburg State scored the game's first seven goals and never let up in a 19-3 victory over Southern Virginia, Tuesday.

Senior Brittney Miller scored a career-high five goals for the Bobcats (2-9), while classmate Megan White added four goals. Miller scored three times in the first half and White added two as Frostburg led 11-2 at intermission.
Junior Malory Brunett scored the game's first goal and finished with three goals, one assist, four draw controls and two ground balls. Freshman Molly Hart contributed three goals.
In total, eight different Bobcat players found the net as the visitors outshot the Knights (1-8) 34-16. Frostburg posted 17 draw controls and was 3-for-4 on free position shots.
Freshman Dylan Teitalbaum earned the win after playing the first 30 minutes and stopping three shots. Sophomore Heather Lowe made five saves in the second half.
Frostburg State returns to action on Saturday with a road contest at top-ranked Salisbury at noon.
