YORK, Pa. – The Frostburg State women’s lacrosse team was defeated 23-1 by No. 11 ranked York (Pa.) in a Capital Athletic Conference showdown, Tuesday afternoon.

The loss drops the Bobcats to an overall record of 5-6 and 1-3 in the CAC. York improves to 10-2 and 4-0 in the CAC.
Megan Stine had a game-high five goals, two ground balls and two caused turnovers to lead YCP in the win.
The Spartans jumped out to an early 2-0 lead within the first five minutes of the contest.
FSU found its first and only goal at 24:15, when sophomore Jessica Jones connected with senior Chelsea Feeney for her 13
th goal of the season.
12 different Spartans registered at least one goal as the hosts put seven more scores on the board in the second half to post the final tally at 23-1.
Frostburg continues CAC action as it travels to face St. Mary’s (Md.) on Saturday, April 13 for a 12:00 pm contest.
