FROSTBURG, Md. – Senior Pablo Torrano scored two first-half goals to carry Frostburg State to a 3-0 shutout of Penn State Harrisburg in CAC men's soccer action, Wednesday.

Torrano capitalized on a pair of Harrisburg mistakes to push FSU's overall record to 7-2 and 1-1 in the CAC. Harrisburg, which attempted just four shots in the contest, falls to 3-5-1 overall and 0-1 in the league.
In the seventh minute, a ball deflected by Lion keeper Deven Gerhart was collected by Torrano who quickly scored for an early 1-0 lead.
In the 37th minute, another dropped ball by Gerhart, provided Torrano with his second goal of the contest. Moving to his left, Gerhart dropped the ball where Torrano quickly gathered it in and scored his ninth of the year.
The score remained 2-0 until the 86th minute when the Bobcats received their seventh and final corner kick. Sophomore Kyle Walczak took the corner, where senior Chris Jones headed into the right corner of the net for the insurance goal.
Senior Drew Hock (61:43) and freshman Hassan Mostafa (28:17) combined to keep Penn State Harrisburg off the scoreboard. The Bobcats held a 24-4 lead in shots and a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.
Gerhart finished with seven saves in the loss.
Frostburg State hosts Wesley this Saturday at 2:00 pm in CAC action.
