FROSTBURG, Md. - Erin Dyer scored five times and Susquehanna collected a 5-0 run late in the first half to earn a 13-10 win in non-conference action over Frostburg State, Saturday on senior day.

Bobcat freshman
Malory Brunett (Clarksville, Md./River Hill) scored back-to-back goals to give FSU (4-7) a 4-3 lead with 9:15 left in the opening half. However, the Crusaders (6-3) rattled off five-straight goals over the remainder of the first for an 8-4 lead that they would not give up. Dyer scored four times in the opening half, including twice during the run, to help Susquehanna to its fifth-straight victory.
Frostburg brought the deficit to within three goals on four occasions in the second half, including the final score, but could not draw any closer as every goal was matched by the visitors.
Bobcat senior
Megan Dent-Carman (Wheeling, W.Va./Mercersburg Academy) opened the second half with a goal as FSU trailed 8-5. Susquehanna later pushed its lead to a game-high five goals, 13-8 with 2:10 remaining, but the Bobcats scored the final two in regulation.
Brunett found the net four times for the second-straight game and finished with four goals and one assist. Junior
Ali Kapustin (Columbia, Md./Marriots Ridge) scored just once, but assisted on three goals while freshman
Katelyn Kesecker (Gambrills, Md./Arundel) scored three times. Frostburg State won 14-of-25 draw controls, but lost any momentum with 26 turnovers.
Dyer led all players with five goals and two assists while Lindsey Derstine had two goals and two assists. Susquehanna attempted 37 shots on the afternoon, with 23 in the first half. The visitors also scooped up 23 ground balls.
Frostburg State hosts Stevenson in its home finale this Tuesday at 4:00 pm.
