CHESTERTOWN, Md. - The Frostburg State baseball team dropped its non-conference doubleheader to Washington College Wednesday afternoon, losing the first game on a walk-off home run 3-2 and falling in the second 8-7.

Frostburg State recorded its first run and hit of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning when senior
Scott Wilson (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton) led off with a home run down the left field line. Washington tied the game in the home half of the sixth on three hits and a costly Bobcat error.
FSU took the lead again in the seventh when junior
Garrett Price (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty (Emory & Henry)) drew a walk with the bases loaded to score classmate Jorge Quiles (Wilmington, Del./Caravel Academy (Wesley)).
With two outs and runner on first, Ryan Normoyle hit a two-run home run to left field to walk-off with the 3-2 win for Washington College.
Junior #Zach O’Dell# (White Plains, Md./Henry E. Lackey) took the loss for the Bobcats pitching 0.2 of an inning.
FSU once again struck first in the second game with an RBI-single from junior

Matt Donaldson (Garrett, Pa./Meyersdale) who led off the game with a walk. Donaldson reached second on a sac bunt from Wilson and advanced to third on an Shoreman error. Price reached on an error by the third baseman to load the bases for Anuszewski, who then singled to third and plate the first run of the game. Junior
John Barrett (Alexandria, Va./Thomas Edison (Hagerstown)) put the Bobcats up 5-0 with a grand slam to left field.
WC answered with two runs in the bottom of the second on three hits and two errors. Frostburg got one back in the top of fourth. Daniel Jester (Preston, Md./Colonel Richardson) reached on a fielder's choice and advanced to third after Donaldson doubled to down the right field line. Wilson hit a sac fly to left field to bring home Jester and give the Bobcats a 7-2 lead.
Washington College used a six-run home half of the sixth to take the win from Frostburg and finish the doubleheader sweep with a score of 8-7.
Sophomore David O'Brien (Thurmont, Md./Mercersburg Academy) endured the loss for the Bobcats throwing just 0.1 of an inning.
Frostburg State looks to get back on the winning track when it heads to Washington, D.C. on March 15 to take on Catholic at 3:00 p.m.
