WASHINGTON, Pa. - Junior
Elisabeth Hildebrand (Frederick, Md./Walkersville) totaled a career-high seven points on six goals and an assist and the Frostburg State women's lacrosse team used an 8-0 goal scoring run in the first half to capture a 19-12 win over Washington & Jefferson, Tuesday evening.

Hildebrand scored four and registered an assist in the first half while helping FSU (7-8) to a 13-5 lead at the break. However, it wasn't easy as the contest was close over the first 10 minutes of action, with the Bobcats up 5-4 at 19:53.
Hildebrand scored her third of the game at 16:48 that jump started an 8-0 run for Frostburg State that covered the next 14 minutes as the visitors moved ahead 13-4. The Presidents (6-7) ended the opening period with a goal from Brittney Oake.
W&J, winners of four-straight heading into the contest, outscored FSU 7-6 in the second half but was never able to overcome the first half deficit.

Meredith Martin (Fairfax, Va./WT Woodson) and junior
Lindsey Chaffman (Hampstead, Md./North Carroll) each had a goal and an assist while freshmen
Kayla Woodward (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) and
Alysia Parlis (Baltimore, Md./Dundalk) each scored once.
Oake led Washington & Jefferson with five goals while Courtney Schrock added four goals and an assist, including four scores in the second half.
Senior
Erin Morrell (Easton, Md./Easton) played 41:03 in net and made 10 saves while earning the victory. Freshman
Tori Butts (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) played the final 18:57 stopping eight shots. Juniors
Marissa Henderson (Pasadena, Md./Northeast) caused a team-high six turnovers and Dent-Carman led all Bobcats with four ground balls. Amber Kuntz suffered the loss for W&J after surrendering 16 goals in 46:13.
Washington & Jefferson outshot Frostburg State 41-30, but the Bobcats were a perfect 4-4 on free position shots and led 17-16 in draw controls.
The Bobcats wrap up their regular season when they travel to No. 4 ranked College of New Jersey on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
