Lucy Baukhages

Lucy Baukhages enters her second season as a Frostburg State Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach for the 2024 season.

The 2023 season, Baukhages' first as a coach, featured the team reaching new heights at the Division II level, winning the Mountain East Conference Tournament. She helped FSU to a 12-7 overall record, including a 9-1 mark in MEC play that secured the regular season championship and the number one seed in the MEC Tournament. It was the highest win total for the program since 1992 and their first conference championship since 1991.

Under her direction, nine Bobcats were named All-MEC, including Neila Haney securing Offensive Player and Freshman of the Year accolades. Julia Badolato, Dahlia Trippel, and Mackenzie Cramer received First Team Honors, Camden DeMaio, Delaney Devers, and Nicole Gray earned Second Team, while Anna Kearney and Isabelle Kelly were named Honorable Mention.

Baukhages was a four-year member of the Women's Lacrosse team from 2019-22, receiving All-Conference academic honors in two seasons. She helped the team transition from Division III to Division II, as the Bobcats reached back-to-back MEC Championship Game appearances in her junior and senior seasons, as well as securing back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 2001.

Baukhages earned her undergraduate degree from FSU in Psychology in 2022.
